The ICCC Conflict Resolution Committee serves as an independent body responsible for addressing disputes, complaints, and procedural concerns that arise within the organization. Its primary role is to ensure that conflicts are handled fairly, objectively, and in accordance with ICCC governing documents, while preserving the integrity, unity, and professionalism of the organization.
ICCC Conflict Resolution Committee Responsibilities
The Conflict Resolution Committee is entrusted with the following responsibilities:
- Dispute ResolutionReview and address formal complaints, disputes, or grievances involving members, clubs, officers, or election-related matters.
Impartial Review
Conduct objective fact-finding by reviewing documentation, statements, and relevant policies without bias or personal interest.Mediation and Recommendations
When appropriate, facilitate mediation between parties and provide written findings and recommendations to the ICCC Executive Board or membership, as outlined in governing documents.Policy and Bylaw Compliance
Interpret and apply ICCC bylaws, standing rules, and policies consistently when evaluating conflicts or procedural challenges.Confidentiality and Professional Conduct
Maintain strict confidentiality throughout the resolution process and conduct all committee business with professionalism and respect.Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of cases reviewed and submit formal reports or determinations as required.Preservation of Organizational Integrity
Act in the best interest of ICCC by promoting fairness, trust, and accountability while helping prevent conflicts from escalating.
